It is not necessary to make an appointment to visit the nursery, but if you have a project you wish to discuss in detail, then calling ahead will ensure you make the most of your visit. We also recommend bringing pictures and measurements (particularly of access) as well as a description of your soil type so that we can direct your enquiry appropriately.

Majestic Trees is only ¼ mile from the M1. If you come via the M1 exit at Junction 9 and go west (Follow the Whipsnade Zoo sign). Immediately on your left is the Harvester restaurant and Premier Inn complex. Take the next left turn, sign-posted ‘Flamstead’ onto Chequers Hill. On your immediate right is a pond, followed by the entrance to the nursery.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and on Saturday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm for sales activities only (meaning we do not have nursery staff on site to deliver or prepare trees for collection). During the shorter winter days of November to February, we have slightly reduced Saturday hours and open from 10.00 am and close at 4.00 pm. (It’s hard to see the trees in the dark!)

We are closed: Sundays, Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day inclusive.

Important Information: We are a wholesale production nursery that grow our trees primarily in Air-Pot containers. From time to time, we experience welcome heavy rain which can make our nursery muddy. We always provide a wide selection of customer Wellington boots for you to borrow on your visit, but you may wish to bring your own. Please be forewarned so as to be suitably dressed.
