The Urban Oasis at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
Trees transform spaces. And few spaces are crying out more for them than the derelict ‘post-industrial’ landscapes of our poorest urban areas. So when the RHS teamed up with Groundwork to theme this season’s demonstration gardens on urban renewal, it was inevitable that the gardens’ award winning designer designer Chris Beardshaw would soon be craving trees. Lots of them. Over ninety in all as a matter of fact. With a cause so close to our own heart, how could we say no?
