You need JavaScript enabled to view it.Carlos joined Majestic Trees in 2007 after immigrating from Venezuela and has over 20 years of experience growing vegetables, ornamental foliage, forestry as well as trees. Prior to that he studied for a MSc in Agronomy/Crop Science at the School of Agronomy, Central University of Venezuela, and his thesis was given an award for being the best at graduation. Carlos loves life and is passionate about trees and growing the highest quality stock. He is one of the key members of staff who really 'makes it happen', works very hard and is very dedicated to the details that make the difference. whether it be the organisation and the setting out of new stock that is grown-on during the growing season, potting, pruning, spraying, etc., whatever the weather! He is an absolute perfectionist, takes great pride in a job well done and instils these principles in his team of horticulturists. He holds a PA1&6 license, as well as various heavy equipment licenses. |

Maria Bengtsson – Horticulturist/Pruning Specialist/Stock ControlThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.Maria joined us in 2011 after moving here from her native Sweden where she worked at the Bergius Botanical Garden. She spent her time there caring for and pruning the large collection of specimen ornamental and fruit trees in this prestigious botanical garden, including the vast collection of Mediterranean plants in the Edvard Anderson Conservatory. Previously she studied horticulture for 2 years and graduated with a Diploma in advanced pruning from the Swedish Horticultural Society. Besides spending many months each year pruning and growing our trees, she manages our tree inventory computer system to ensure we always have accurate and reliable information. She is a dedicated and passionate horticulturist who is committed to excellence, nothing is too much trouble, and she thrives on a challenge however great or small. |

Dariusz Piwko – Nurseryman & Machine OperatorDariusz joined us in early 2011 after over 8 years working as a nurseryman growing trees and as a machine operator on another large nursery. He is involved in all areas of tree production, especially in the receiving, offloading, setting out, potting and respacing of the trees throughout the year and the irrigation during the growing season. He is very hard working, detailed and conscientious, and nothing is too much trouble. He ably handles and holds various licenses for a lot of the heavy equipment we operate on the nursery. |

Tristen Lindfors – Nurseryman & Machine OperatorTristen joined us in 2011 after moving from Alaska to marry his English wife, having previously working as a nurseryman at a tree nursery in Illinois, USA! He grew up on the family farm working on the ranch and later on as a carpenter, thinks our winters are warm and that we don’t know the meaning of cold! He works on the nursery setting out the stock, potting, respacing and keeping the place looking good, holding licenses for various equipment. Tristen is hard working, has a great attitude and nothing is too much trouble. He has a great eye for detail, and takes a lot of pride in doing the job right! |

Philip Ostley – Nurseryman/Pruning SpecialistPhil joined Majestic Trees in 2012 after completing the prestigious Kew Diploma in Botanical Horticulture, one of horticultures most eminent and sought after courses. Prior to that he graduated from Pershore College of Agriculture and Horticulture with a BSc(Hons) degree in horticulture and prior to that an HND in Amenity and Landscape Horticulture, having previously worked at other nurseries since his early teens. Phil is passionate about trees, and quickly proved his knowledge and ability on joining our team, working on every facet of production. He has a PA1 & 6 pesticide license, is a fully qualified arborist and a Professional Tree Inspector. Phil has been in great new addition to our team as we continue to strive for excellence in all we do. |

Bruno Lechevalier – Nurseryman & Machine OperatorBruno originally asked if he could come and work at Majestic Trees for 12 months to observe our growing practices and hopefully learn a few things. After completing his horticultural studies, he worked for a number of years as a nurseryman on a tree nursery in France that is one of our tree suppliers. We agreed, but have know told him he cannot leave as he is a great nurseryman, has a great attitude, works very hard and is a stickler for detail. He very ably operates various machinery, doesn’t believe in the 35 hour week, and is one of the nicest people you could want to meet, always happy! His passion for trees in infectious as is his love for life, always enthusiastic and willing to pitch in and help anyone, whatever it is! |

Matt Stevens - Facilities MaintenanceMatt is the person who maintains the irrigation system, spearheads development of new or refurbished areas, repairs tools, changes and repairs equipment or golf buggy, etc. He has worked with his hands for over 15 years, and studied and got a City and Guilds distinction in Bricklaying and Construction which he applies in building and facilities maintenance, as well as tree surgery before joining us in 2007. He takes great pride in doing the job right, and is a very practical person with a lot of common sense. He is a valued member of the team, and without him Majestic would not be the company it is today. |

David Kennett – Fleet & Facilities MaintenanceDavid joined us in 2007 and is the man who faithfully ensures our trucks and equipment always looks clean. Whatever the weather, even if it is -10 and however muddy the machine, as long as his pressure washer works, David will clean it! Formally from Zimbabwe, he worked on a farm before moving to the UK for better opportunities. During the week he is the General Manager of the homeless shelter and soup kitchens at All Soul’s Church in London, but every Saturday you can find David working at Majestic Trees preparing our fleet and equipment for the following week. |

Jacob Olton – Nursery ApprenticeJacob is one of our horticultural apprentice intake from 2011 as we develop the future team and train young people for a career in horticulture. He wrote to us to tell us that he would really like to work at our nursery after he left school, so we offered him a place to develop his knowledge in an environment where he really felt he would learn. He quickly settled in and is already making a significant contribution when not attending Capel Manor College where he is studying for his Diploma in Work Based Horticulture. |
