Andy Porter - Planting SupervisorAndy has worked since the early days of Majestic Trees having been with us for over 8 years. He started on the tree planting team but quickly demonstrated his leadership abilities and his gift to think outside the box, which has resulted in him running one of the tree planting teams. He previously worked in groundcare and landscape maintenance and holds all the relevant tickets for the heavy equipment we operate. Andy is multi-skilled, a capable driver of a 7.5 ton lorry, and has completed his City & Guilds NVQ2 in Horticulture during his time at Majestic. He has excellent customer service skills and is always hard-working, punctual and conscientious. |

Winston Woodward – Planting Supervisor/AfterCareWinston joined Majestic Trees in early 2006 and has been in the industry for over 20 years. He has an ND in Horticulture (Distinction) and worked for six years as part of the team building the Eden Project and has worked overseas on other projects. Winston is a qualified Pesticide applicator, is a licensed machine operator driving most of our fleet of heavy machinery as well as a HGV2 driver. Winston provides consistent and knowledgeable horticultural care, heading up the companies AfterCare services. He is passionate about his plants and it shows in the detail and thoroughness of his work, and customer survey’s demonstrate this. He has proven to be an invaluable team member leading a crew on projects across the UK with the utmost professionalism. |

Tom Dulieu - HGV1/Machine OperatorTom grew up on a farm which resulted in him learning to drive machinery at an early age. With about 20 years experience, there is little he cannot drive or does not hold a license for, whether it be telescopic handlers, tractors, skidsteers, excavators, hiab crane and tracked dumpers, etc. and of course a HGV1 truck license. Tom joined Majestic in 2006 where he has become an important part of the tree planting team and is very detailed and extremely practical. He is especially adept at long distance or trunking work and has been known to turn around up to 3 artic trailer loads of trees in one day when we are running in numerous trees for the show gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show!. |

Iain Heaslip – HGV1 & Tree Planting TeamIain joined our team in 2009 and has worked in the nursery business for over 20 years, primarily at a bonsai nursery. Now instead of bonsai trees, he thinks nothing of moving and planting trees in 80 to 5,000 litre pots. Over the years he has picked most of his horticultural knowledge on the job, though he has completed his City & Guilds, NVQ2 in Horticulture. It doesn’t matter where you live, Iain is happy to drive to you. He is a natural at delivering and planting trees, usually as part of a team, and holds a license for various machinery and of course a HGV1 truck license. |

Alex Balbi – Arborist/HGV1 DriverAlex is a passionate tree lover who received his National Diploma in Arboriculture at Moulton College, as well as numerous other qualifications in tree climbing, chainsaw, traffic management and First Aid. He joined Majestic Trees in 2011 after 4 years of arboriculture work, as he felt drawn to planting large specimen trees. He is hard working, has a great attitude, very conscientious and has very good customer service skills. He is also an excellent truck driver and holds license for various heavy plant including telescopic handlers, scissor lifts, excavators, hiab crane and tracked dumpers, etc. and of course a HGV1 truck license. |

Carl Batchelor - HGV1 & Tree Planting TeamCarl has worked in the horticultural industry for over 20 years, having joined Majestic Trees in early 2004 where he has progressed from crew member to a leadership role. Carl has a practical “can-do” approach with a commitment to excellent customer service that makes him an invaluable team leader. He is fully competent in all plant and machinery we own, including excavators, telehandlers, skidsteers etc., and holds all relevant tickets as does all of his crew that operate them. Carl also holds both a HGV1 and 2 rigid and articulated truck licenses, and is a fully qualified First Aider. As if that weren’t enough, during his time at Majestic, Carl has also undertaken and completed his City & Guilds NVQ2 in Horticulture. |
