This is one of the best hornbeams for autumn colour. Whilst sharing all the fantastic traits of the species, instead of the characteristic golden yellow, the leaves turn an impressive fiery red and orange in autumn. Green catkins in spring followed by clusters of winged fruit in summer.Tolerates exposure. Great on all well-drained soils. H7
