Deciduous. A somewhat more compact version of horse chestnut with a heavy crown, reaching perhaps to 20 meters at maturity and most recognisable by its deep rose-red (rather than the traditional white) cone-shaped flowers. Conkers follow in autumn. ADVISORY: unfortunately we are not able to guarantee horse chestnuts against Bleeding Canker. A shallow rooting tree.
