'Brenelia' is a relatively new cultivar, similar to 'Myrtifolia' in habit, bearing somewhat larger leaves with a delightful, undulated margin. The maroon characteristic of the stems is even more prominent, and maintains the colour throughout most of the year. Blooms in late April to early June with sweetly scented white racemes, followed by shiny black berries. H5
