A slightly more unusual Japanese snowbell where the spreading branches bear pink flowers instead of white. The small bell-shaped blooms emerge in late May to June, dangling beneath the canopy like precious jewels, giving off a pleasant mild scent. Attractive cracking bark and good autumn colours. Requires acidic soil. H5
