First discovered in a garden in Birmingham in the early 1960s, this curious elm displayed an intreguing dwarf habit, reaching no more than 4 meters, whilst retaining its distinctive herringbone-structured branches, finely toothed leaves and attractive orange autumn colour. Best with consistent and even moisture; prefers rich, moist loams. H6
